Sanjar Nazarov has over 25 years of international experience in finance, audit, and strategic transformation across Uzbekistan, Russia, and global markets. Currently serving as Director of the Project Office (Transformation Division) at JSC “Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company” (NMMC), one of the world’s leading gold producers. Holds degrees in International Economic Relations and Law from Tashkent State University of Economics and Lomonosov Moscow State University. Brings extensive expertise in financial management, corporate governance, and large-scale transformation programs. Career background includes leadership roles in major international and regional organizations, including KPMG (Uzbekistan, Russia), Meridian FSYu Limited, General Motors Uzbekistan, and other investment and development companies. Has successfully led finance functions, strategic development initiatives, and organizational transformation projects across multiple industries. At NMMC, is responsible for driving transformation initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, implementing international best practices, and strengthening the company’s global competitiveness.

The presentation will outline NMMC’s transformation journey aimed at strengthening the Company’s position as one of the global leaders in the gold mining industry while ensuring long-term sustainable growth.
