Over 25 years of experience in radiation ecology, environmental protection, and nature management, as well as participation in research projects related to the nuclear industry and energy, have published over 20 scientific papers. In 2005, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences in Ecology on the topic of "Radionuclide Migration in the Soil-Plant System on the Territory of the Former Semipalatinsk Test Site." He participated in the development of environmental legislation at the government agency, the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He also served on the expert working group of the Kazenergy Association for the review and amendment of environmental legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He regularly participates in IAEA technical meetings and seminars on the safety of uranium production facilities and the reclamation of uranium deposits. In addition, he is a mentor for a young specialist in the IZBASAR Program, class of 2023.
