Experience of applying the Transient Electromagnetic Method (TEM) in underground boreholes

The report presents the first practical experience of Scientific Production Center GEOKEN in applying the Transient Electromagnetic Method (TEM/TDEM) under underground mine conditions in Kazakhstan. The work was carried out as part of the implementation of modern electrical prospecting technologies to address challenges in underground geophysics and to assess the potential for ore mineralization. The study considers the specific features of adapting the TEM method to underground conditions, including the selection and optimization of transmitter loop parameters, survey configuration, and the influence of industrial and anthropogenic noise.
