Graduated from Saint Petersburg State University, Faculty of Geology. Has more than 20 years of experience in research, education, project development and industrial activities related to the geology of mineral deposits, as well as the prospecting and exploration of mineral resources.

Research interests and professional activities include forecasting, prospecting and exploration of solid mineral deposits, including highly liquid mineral commodities (diamonds, gold, PGMs and others).

Development and implementation of modern integrated exploration and forecasting solutions. Key interests also include current issues of mining law and the economics of mineral resources, as well as modern information technologies in the development of mineral deposits. Engaged in research, expert and consulting activities in the field of subsoil use.

Regions of scientific and professional work include Fennoscandia (Finland, Sweden, North-West Russia), the Urals, Kazakhstan, Krasnoyarsk Krai, the Republic of Buryatia, Irkutsk Region and the Russian Far East.

Author of 25 scientific publications and more than 20 exploration projects and technical reports.
